You’ll stay at a brand-new property that assures you the same impressive list of amenities Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort guests enjoy — including five water parks within walking distance. With so much flexibility in unit styles, you can escape with just the kids…or bring the whole extended family for one amazing reunion.

The resort is large and offers shuttles; but it an easy walk to the water parks and they have a sky walk so you don’t have to go outside. There are many activities for the kids. They also have an “arcade” that has the games that gives out tickets then you pick out prizes.

As guests of Wyndham’s Glacier Canyon you have full use of the facilities at the larger Wilderness Resort and all of its water parks. The water parks are no additional cost for resort guests

The lobby and hallways were all of good size and well lit. The theme decorated appointments were appropriate and of good taste. They offer a service for about $20 where they will decorate your unit for an occasion. It adds to the excitement on arrival and offers a nice touch.

Walking into the rooms is a bit of a WOW moment for our guests. The Glacier Canyon units were different in layout, design and appointments. There is a gas fireplace and ceiling fans. All the TV’s were high definition flat screens. The cabinets were large and impressive.

The rooms were very well laid out. We had a two bedroom unit. The dining table seated 6, which was a welcome touch since too often we see tables for four in two bedroom condos. There were an additional three stools for the breakfast bar, which kids will enjoy.

The second bedroom has a two full size beds and they had their own TV. It was large and comfortable. The bathroom is right outside the second bedroom and is shared with the rest of the unit.

The living room had a queen size sleeper sofa which our kids took turns sleeping in each night. From the sleeper sofa you can get to the second bathroom without walking into any of the bedrooms, so privacy for all.

The master bedroom is very nice. The master bedroom has its own TV. The bath area is divided into two parts. Inside with the master bedroom is a soaker spa tub and a sink. Then behind a door for privacy was the privy, a second sink and a large walk-in shower with clear glass doors.

The kitchen is well appointed with everything you would need including blenders and wine bottle opener. All the pots and pans are stainless steel and so as you often see at timeshare resorts there were no non-stick pans; but there were a lot of stainless steel pots and pans.

Back at the lobby there is a large public space with comfortable seats, some of which are nice comfy leather. There is a snack/bar area and they also do the kids’ activities there. Also in that area is an arcade area where you can win tickets and trade them in for prizes.

There was a room with two free internet PC’s for use by Glacier Canyon guests; you could access your internet email.
