This popular pool is open year round and is comprised of three parts - hot, diving and lap pool.

The timeshare resort has a total of 65 units, twenty-two of which are used for exchange purposes. These units range from two to five bedrooms. Nearly all units have three floors, and the layouts can be very different. The top floor has the master bedroom with a loft style sitting room with a sleep sofa. Each has a huge bathroom with shower. The jacuzzi tub is in the bedroom. The large closet would hold more clothes than anyone would need to take while on vacation! The main floor has a large living room with leather furniture and a dining room with a very large table. The kitchen is very well equipped, and has a marble topped bar that seated six. On the main floor also, was the billiard room with a standard sized solid oak pool table. The bottom floor deck is on the Mountainside Golf Course. Downstairs is a large sitting room with a sleep sofa , three bedrooms, plus two bathrooms and a large laundry room. One bedroom had a king bed, one had twin beds, and the third had a single and a double. All units have a gas BBQ and lounge table and chairs on the deck. Air-conditioning is in all units. Units have a TV on the top and bottom floors, and two on the main floor {one in the games room}. The kitchen is fairly well equipped with a pantry at the side. It has marble countertops, and many cupboards and drawers.

One thing that is impressive is the art work in all rooms. There were many prints from well known artists. Each unit has its own style of decor, all tastefully decorated by the owner and his wife.

There are no scheduled activities, no reception area, no pool or exercise room. These things are all in the planning stage. There was no local info given out. They are thinking of having a sleigh ride over the Christmas season, In December there is always a torch parade down the ski slopes, and the whole town gets out for this very popular event.

The town of Invermere, population 15,000, is 16 miles north of Fairmont. It is a quaint little town with several interesting little stores.

The resort has a few get togethers and you can win a free glass bottom boat tour at one of them. The staff was friendly and very helpful in planning things to do.

The Galleon is truly a top notch resort. The 2 bedroom is large, clean and comfortable, and the Galleon has just about the best location to really enjoy Key West. The wharf area, with all its good restaurants, bars and entertainment, starts right outside the front door. Mallory Square and Duval Street is about 2 blocks away.

As far as activities are concerned, on Monday, the resort holds an outdoor party with live music and food. On Wednesdays, another party is held. There are so many good restaurants to choose from.

As for activities, this is Key West after all. There are lots of things for everyone to enjoy – kids, couples, teenagers, young, and older.
