Marriott’s Grande Ocean Timeshare Review

Located on Hilton Head Island, renowned worldwide for its exquisite golf courses, the resort offers a wide range of additional activities. The property includes four outdoor swimming pools, one of which is heated, and one indoor pool; a five-court tennis complex; a fully equipped health club; and outdoor hot tubs. Lush tropical gardens, white sandy beaches, and accommodations which feature a balcony with an ocean and/or garden view, a big-screen television, and video cassette recorder, among other amenities, add to a delightful vacation

The villas are huge and beautifully furnished, the kitchen is the best I have come across in Marriott family, loved that the 2nd bedroom had two queen beds. We were in Sand Castle building on first floor, we had a wonderful view from balcony and also were close to the North Pool which was always quiet and suited us.

The location of the resort on Hilton Head was excellent, close to Sea Pines but also close to restaurants, shops etc. We loved Sea Pines, Harbor Town and South Beach Marina.

Grande Ocean is great for families, especially those with teenagers, it has wonderful units, well kept, beautiful and mature grounds, its location on island must be one of best and would recommend this resort to anyone. Wonderful feeling of standing on balcony and looking at the beautiful ocean, knowing you could walk along the beach at any time is priceless!

Marriott’s Grande Ocean villas come with all the luxuries and room you’ll need to stretch out and make the most of your vacation. Each two-bedroom/two-bath villa comes complete with rich furnishings and a balcony overlooking the ocean or lagoons. Walking through the villa door, you instantly recognize the elegance and attention to detail. With comfortable couches, roomy arm chairs and open and airy rooms, Grande Ocean’s villas provide relaxation with a touch of luxury.

The resort is nicely groomed and clean. There is free wifi that can be used around the pools as well as your room. There are 2 large outdoor pools and a smaller heated lap pool. The indoor pool is big and has a hot tub under it’s roof and outside it’s doors are 2 pool and fooseball tables. There are plenty of hot tubs of different sizes scattered all around the pool areas. They have a putting green and shuffle board with equipment supplied at the front desk area. Bikes can be rented for $25 a week and comes with a pass to Sea Cove area. The mini mart didn’t carry much and was expensive. Several grocery stores are short drives away. It did have a Pizza Hut express and made up sandwiches for snacking. There is a seasonal bar and grill by the north pool that was closed.

Even for off season there were plenty of activities. On Sunday there is a wine and cheese social, Monday is the welcome get together with breakfast snacks and raffle prizes. During the week there is plenty of craft activities that cost about $5. Tours to Savannah, Charleston, and Beaufort could be purchased. For adults there was a blackjack night and iron chef competition. There was a lot going on daily.

The beach is flat with hard compact sand that is good for long walks or bike riding. The surf is calm for swimming. Some shells can be found.
